As much as I would love to write a happy post as usual, I must admit that I'm really lacking the motivation to do anything remotely joyous at the moment. I'm so over this week, term, year etc. I just wish the term would hurry up and get to wherever it is that I'm looking forward to.
I suppose that's really the problem with this term, we have nothing at school, or even outside of it, to look forward to. Not that I really look forward to anything outside of school, because it's really my life anyway. Last term we were able to see SCG camp always on the horizon, and then it was holidays shortly after, but this term there's nothing particularly enjoyable coming. Quite different from last year, if I remember correctly...term 2 of last year was probably one of the most amusing I've ever had at school.
As for the fun things this term holds in store: Amus, House Choir Festival, Metropolitan Band Championships, State Band Championships, IGSSA Cross Country, Musicianship, not to mention the thousands of assessments our lovely teachers are delighting in giving us. Especially Mr Smee...I seriously hope he doesn't come checking if I have a blog... but I'm just so over everything this term. I want to go into hibernation, and come out again when spring arrives.
And now, back to something more productive...like Otzi the Iceman, my current love interest.
